Why this survey exists

Procurement and sourcing are at a real inflection point.
According to e.g. Deloitte’s 2025 Global CPO Survey, CPOs are being asked to deliver more value in an environment of inflation, geopolitical tension and supply chain volatility – while also driving digital transformation and adopting GenAI at pace.
CPOs report that their top enterprise priorities for 2025 are:

  • Improving margins through cost reduction and cost avoidance
  • Driving operational efficiency – doing more with less
  • Advancing digital transformation and GenAI in procurement
  • Enhancing risk management in increasingly complex supply markets

Global data like this is valuable – but it doesn’t answer a critical question:

How are Nordic sourcing and procurement leaders responding to these same pressures in their own markets, industries and SRM practices?

That’s why we’re running the Noventia Nordic Sourcing Survey 2026.

  • We want to create a Nordic-specific, data-driven picture of:
  • How sourcing roles and priorities are changing
  • How mature SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) really is
  • How far organizations have come in digitalization, AI and analytics
  • What leaders see as their biggest risks, capability gaps and needs for support in 2026

Why your response is so important

This survey is built for senior sourcing and procurement decision-makers. Your answers will:

1. Give the Nordics a voice

Today, most benchmark data is global and generic. Nordic organizations operate in different regulatory, cultural and supplier landscapes. Your insights help build a benchmark that actually reflects your reality.

2. Turn experience into evidence

You already know what’s changing. By taking this survey, you help transform individual experience into shared evidence that other leaders can act on.

3. Influence where the market goes next

Vendors, consultants and even regulators read these signals. By participating, you help steer the discussion about SRM, sourcing technology and operating models in a more Nordic-relevant direction.

4. Support international comparison

We’re aligning themes with global work such as Deloitte’s 2025 Global CPO Survey – so we can compare Nordic responses with the global picture on digital transformation, GenAI, supplier risk and ESG.

5. Strengthen the position of procurement in your own organization

The final report gives you external data points you can use in:

  • Strategy and investment discussions
  • Business cases for SRM, sourcing tools and analytics
  • Internal conversations about risk, ESG and supplier collaboration

What the survey covers

In under 5 minutes, we’ll ask you about:

  • Your organization profile (size, industry, country, role, tenure)
  • The current state of sourcing and SRM
  • Priorities and expected changes in 2025
  • Digitalization, tools and AI in procurement
  • Supplier risk, resilience and ESG
  • Your biggest challenges and #1 sourcing priority for 2026

Almost all questions are quick Likert-scale selections, with optional comment fields if you want to add context.

What you receive in return

All respondents who choose to leave their email will receive:

  • A Nordic benchmarking report summarizing key findings
  • Insights on how peers in similar industries and company sizes are approaching SRM, risk and digitalization
  • Clear, presentation-ready data points you can use internally

You can also indicate if you’re open to optional follow-up (e.g. deeper interviews, case examples, or speaking opportunities).

Who should respond?

We’re especially keen to hear from:

  • CPOs / Heads of Procurement / Heads of Sourcing
  • CFOs, COOs and other CXOs with procurement responsibility
  • Category Managers and Sourcing Leaders
  • Supplier Relationship / Vendor Management leaders
  • Supply Chain, Risk or Sustainability leaders closely involved with suppliers

One senior response per organization is ideal – but additional perspectives are welcome, particularly from different business units or countries. You are more than welcome to distribute the invite to your colleagues and peers!

FAQ – Everything you might want to know before replying

Less than 5 minutes.
The survey is intentionally short: mainly multiple-choice and Likert-scale questions, with a few optional comment boxes so you can complete it in one go on desktop, laptop or mobile. You still will have the opportunity to go back and complete or edit your answers.

The data for Noventia Nordic Sourcing Survey 2026 is collected through Surveypal – another trusted Finnish software provider. You can read more about Surveypal data privacy and security here: surveypal.com/privacy-and-security/

Your answers to the survey questions are analysed in aggregate only.
We do not publish or share any individual-level data that would identify you or your company. All personal data in treated in accordance with GDPR and our privacy policy.
If you choose to leave an email to receive the report or be contacted for follow-up, that information is stored separately and used only for that purpose.

No, individual companies will not be named in the published report or in any public output, unless we agree separately with you in the context of a specific case study or interview.

Results are presented in aggregated segments, such as:

  •  Region / country
  • Industry
  • Company size
  • Role (CEO, CPO, IT, etc.)
  • SRM / digital maturity levels

No.
The survey is open to all Nordic organizations with a meaningful sourcing/procurement function, regardless of whether you are a Noventia customer or not. Our goal is to build a broad and accurate picture of the Nordic sourcing landscape, not a customer satisfaction study.

We will:

  • Analyse the data and produce a Nordic Sourcing 2026 -report
  • Share key findings with respondents who requested it
  • Use the insights to improve our own solutions and roadmap
  • Contribute to the professional discussion around procurement, SRM and digital transformation
  • We will not sell your individual data to third parties.

We believe SRM and sourcing technology are important enablers – and Deloitte’s 2025 CPO Survey shows that CPOs are now allocating around 20% of their budget to procurement technology, nearly double the relative investment in 2023.
However, this survey is not a product demo. It is designed to understand:

  • Where Nordic organizations actually are in terms of maturity
  • What they really need from tools, partners and skills
  • How they are balancing technology, people and process

Of course, if you want to discuss how your findings relate to Noventia’s SRM solutions, we’re happy to do that – but it’s optional and separate from the survey itself.

Only the Noventia project team responsible for analysing the survey data will have access to individual responses, and they will handle them under strict confidentiality. Published output will always be aggregated and anonymized.

Yes.
In many larger organizations, different business units or countries have very different realities. Seeing these differences can be valuable, especially when segmented by industry, size and role.
If you’re a CXO or work with strategic sourcing, you can:

  • Respond yourself
  • Invite selected leaders (e.g. category heads or country heads) to respond as well

You don’t need to have perfect data. We’re asking for your professional view as a senior leader or practitioner.
If there’s something you’re unsure about (for example, exact percentages), use your best estimate. The value lies in patterns across many respondents, not individual precision.

The survey will be open for a limited period so we can analyse and share results in a timely manner. If you’re reading this, we are still collecting responses. Our recommendation: answer now – it takes less than 5 minutes, and you won’t have to remember to come back later.

The survey is available in English, designed to be clear and accessible for Nordic professionals.
If you require a local language version for a group or team, please contact us – we’re happy to explore options.

Absolutely.

In fact, we encourage you to share the survey with:

  • Other leaders in your organization
  • Relevant contacts in your professional network

The wider the participation, the more useful the Nordic benchmark becomes for everyone.

At the end of the survey, you can choose to leave your email address.
We will use it only to:

  • Send you the final report once it’s ready
  • Optionally invite you to further discussions, if you’ve indicated interest
